Who We Are

The museum exists to tell the story of what it was like to live and work around Three Rivers, for the benefit of everyone who has any reason to be interested in the heritage of our area. We’re in Basing House in the middle of Rickmansworth, but are very happy to engage with the communities of Three Rivers wherever they are.

What We Do

We keep, and display in various ways including on our digital display, a range of information about the area,. Our website will build up to explain the history and heritage of the district, and we can come and give talks about a range of historical topics as well as about the museum. We're happy to host visits from schools and other community groups covering all ages. We're free to visit during our public opening times, although we usually ask for a small fee for a special visit.
