We aim to offer a variety of options to suit everyone at Getting Together. If you are over 55 and looking for friendships and a chance to socialise with others then we hope that one of our options will suit you. We focus on your Health & Wellbeing and have developed a programme of activities based on your social, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs. The health and wellbeing of you, our volunteers and the staff at W3RT is of paramount importance. We are closed on Bank Holidays.

    Getting Together Activities are face to face and take place regularly throughout the year. Please register as a Getting Together member here if you are interested in being kept informed about our up and coming activities which we will also share on this page. Examples could include walks, photography lessons, technical training to use your smartphone or laptop. We always aim to deliver activities free of charge when possible or at a significantly subsidised rate. 

    We love to hear your views and ideas too so please let us know if you have any suggestions that you believe others will be interested in joining too.

    Getting Together at Clubs is a way of making new friends and connecting with like minded people who prefer to interact and socialise in person. We offer regular weekly daytime clubs at various local, easy to reach, venues across Watford & Three Rivers. 

    Some example activities may include coffee and chat, bingo, quizzes, lunch, board games, chair based exercises, guest speakers. Club membership is free and chargeable options are offered at a subsidised rate. This service is very popular, especially with those that are living alone or may have limited social interaction. It’s a great opportunity to meet up with and make new friends whilst having some fun together. 

    Please get in touch with us for more information about where and when these take place or click here to complete a form to let us know you are interested and we call you back. Do also enquire about our Community Cars service if you would like some support to be driven to the club. 

  •   Getting Together Outings are organised safely in small groups regularly throughout the year. Please register as a Getting Together member here if you are interested in being kept informed about our up and coming outings which we will also update on this page. Example outings could include day trips to the seaside, RHS Gardens and to see the Christmas Lights in London. We always aim to deliver outings at a significantly subsidised rate.

    Getting Together Events are organised safely in small groups regularly throughout the year. Please register as a Getting Together member here if you are interested in being kept informed about our up and coming events which we will also update on this page. 

    Example events could include Christmas Parties with food and dancing and celebrations of major dates like D Day or  International Older Persons Day. We always aim to deliver events at a significantly subsidised rate.

    Are you struggling to get out, staying away with family or isolating at home? Then Getting Together Events are available to join several times a week. Please register as a Getting Together member here if you are interested in joining us via Zoom and Remo so you can keep in touch with others.

    These take place every Wednesday’s at 10.30am – come along and join us for some gentle exercise to music 

    Remo/Zoom Coffee Connections with Jo 

    Grab a cuppa and join us at 10.30am on Tuesday’s every week – we will share news and updates at the start of the call and sit back for a good chat amongst ourselves
