Who We Are

Watford Interfaith Association (WIFA) aims to bring together people of all faiths and none, to learn and understand about each others' faith or belief systems and to look out for each other at times of stress and conflict. WIFA educates by going into schools and by holding public events.

What We Do

WIFA organises a public lecture every year on a topical subject, we speak or demonstrate in school assemblies and RE days, organise an interfaith pilgrimage every year during Interfaith Week, and organise vigils when disasters and conflicts happen to support those who are badly affected: hold monthly Zoom discussions on aspects of faith, gather together for prayers during the Week of Prayer for World Peace, have created a Peace Garden in Cassiobury Park where all can come to find peace or for people of faith and none to work together side by side. WIFA also takes part in the Sacred Space segment of Watford Celebration, an annual multi cultural event, and produces three or four informative newsletters every year.
