Trustees’ Week runs every year in November and is a time for us to come together to celebrate the achievements of over 1 million trustees across the UK. The theme this year: Many voices. Working together. With purpose. As our external environment continues to change, we face new challenges.
The positive impact trustees make is invaluable to our communities so we would like to thank all the trustees working in Watford and Three Rivers for the time, commitment and effort you bring to your charities to help them thrive. In Hertfordshire, the annual Hertfordshire Trustees' Conference 2023 is taking place on Thursday 9th November between 4pm and 7pm at Aubrey Park Hotel in St Albans. This event is being hosted by Hertfordshire Community Foundation, Go Vol Herts and Community Help Hertfordshire with a range of speakers focusing on becoming environmentally conscious and how your trustee board can be more inclusive. Attendance is free but tickets are now extremely limited so we recommend you register as soon as possible if you want to attend by clicking here.
Throughout the week, our social media channels will focus on all aspects of trustees week with specific posts about what its like being a trustee and how your organisation can recruit new trustees. As always, please do not hesitate to contact the CVS Team about how we can support your organisations with recruiting new trustees or developing your trustee board so they are best placed to be able to support your organisations.
