    We have a team of volunteers who will give you a regular telephone call to see how you are doing and the two of you can chat about what’s interesting or important to you.

    With 24 hours’ notice, we can arrange for a volunteer to purchase and deliver your shopping to you at home. You will be invoiced after this has been completed and your volunteer supplies us with your receipt.

    Community Cars provides essential journeys for those unable to use public transport due to mobility issues or ill health. Our team of friendly Volunteer drivers use their own cars to transport passengers to hospital, GP and other health appointments and can also help people to stay socially active.   

    Community Cars serves residents across Watford and Three Rivers and provides a safe, reliable, and affordable service. We charge 65p per mile.

    This service is undertaken within strict guidelines, such as being familiar with the type of breed and temperament of the dog. The volunteer would need your guidance and advice on the route and be able to contact you whilst they are out if needed.
