January

• Voluntary Sector Networking Meeting – 31^st January 2023

In 2022, many of you told us know you wanted us to host networking opportunities for charities and community groups where you could meet each other and find out what else is happening in the community. As a result, we are launching free quarterly voluntary sector networking meetings beginning on the 31^st January 2023 between 11am and 12:30pm at the Holywell Community Centre.

So if you want to catch up with friends in the new year, met some of the amazing charities in the area or find out more about how W3RT CVS can help you, sign up here and come along!

February

• Fundraising Network Meeting – 22^nd February 2023

Our regular Fundraising Network Meeting will return in February 2023 where we will be talking about all things Fundraising. Last year, we had presentations from national and local funders, discussions about crowdfunding and small group conversations to allow you to share your thoughts and key issues impacting charities and voluntary organisations relating to funding.

The next meeting will be on the 22^nd February 2023 between 11am and 12:30pm, online on Zoom. We are in the process of finalising the theme and content for the meeting but want to get the date in your diaries ahead of time. Therefore, if you want to come along, we will need you to register here so we can share the Zoom link with you a couple of days before the meeting.

• Volunteering Network Meeting – 22^nd March 2023

In March, our quarterly Volunteering Network Meeting will return to discuss all things volunteering. We know that there are significant pressures on the voluntary sector due to the cost of living crisis and as a result, volunteers are as important as ever.

The next meeting will be on the 22^nd March 2023 between 11am and 12:30pm, online on Zoom. We are in the process of finalising the theme and content for the meeting but want to get the date in your diaries ahead of time. Therefore, if you want to come along, we will need you to register here so we can share the Zoom link with you a couple of days before the meeting.

• W3RT CVS Funding Fair 2023 – 28^th March 2023

Lastly, we are delighted to announce our annual Funding Fair, this year being hosted at PWC offices in Watford. For those who have not been to one of our funding fairs, this is our annual event where we discuss all things funding with a mixture of presentations from local and national funders, workshops on different issues impacting funding as well as a roundup of support available from W3RT CVS.

This year, the Fair will take place on the 28^th March 2023 between 9:15am and 1pm at PWC Offices on Clarendon Road in Watford. Consider this a save-the-date and once the details of the Fair have been confirmed, we will be sending out a further email along with a registration form.
