We offer weekly a chair-based exercise and a fun online quiz. These sessions are designed to promote physical and mental health, improve mobility, and boost confidence—all from the comfort of your own home. They are ideal for people with limited mobility or those looking for gentle ways to stay active. By providing these services online, we ensure they are accessible to everyone, breaking down barriers such as geographical distance or physical limitations, and fostering a sense of community while supporting overall wellbeing.

  • Our weekly Welcome Space at the St James Baptist Church (St James Road, Watford, Herts, WD18 0DZ) runs every Thursday from 12pm to 2.30pm, offering a warm, inclusive environment for all. Visitors can enjoy free refreshments and a light lunch while connecting with others in the community. This space provides an opportunity to combat loneliness, foster meaningful relationships, and promote mental health and wellbeing. By offering a safe and welcoming atmosphere, we aim to build a sense of belonging and support for everyone who joins us, creating stronger connections and a more resilient community.

  • Our Personal Shopping Service is here to assist people who face challenges with grocery shopping. Run by dedicated volunteers, this service ensures you have access to essential items while offering a friendly, personalised experience.

     

    Whether you’re a senior, recovering from an illness, or facing mobility issues, our service is designed to make daily life easier. This service doesn’t just provide convenience; it fosters connection. Our volunteers are compassionate, reliable, and committed to supporting the community.     Designed for people of all ages and backgrounds, including seniors, caregivers, or those adjusting to life changes, our service offers tailored support to meet your needs. We carefully match participants and volunteers based on shared interests and preferences, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

  • Our Community car service is here to meet your transportation needs with a focus on convenience and affordable rate of 65p per mile. Whether you need a ride to a hospital/doctor’s appointment, the grocery store, or a social gathering.  Our professional reliable volunteers will get you there safely.  Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available upon request along with assistances for passengers with mobility challenges.

     

    We are dedicated to ensuring everyone in our community has access to reliable transportation, especially those who may face challenges with traditional travel options. Our service is built to enhance mobility and support independence for all.

  • Our Digital Inclusion Service provides support and resources to build confidence in using technology. We offer free access to laptops, tablets and internet connectivity to individuals. We offer training sessions to help individuals develop digital literacy and knowledge:

    • Online shopping
    • Setting up zoom/email accounts
    • Social media support
    • Booking online GP appointments
    • Support in using Microsoft Office
    • Accessing Online News and media

    By utilising our Digital Inclusion Service, individuals gain equal opportunities to access information, education, and employment opportunities in the digital age. We provide personalised support to meet specific needs ensuring confidence in using technology.     We accept donations of laptops and tablets in usable conditions. Please ensure all passwords are removed and these can be dropped at the following locations:
