“Herts Valleys Clinical Commissioning Group” (part of the NHS) has now allocated £7,800 to support W3RT programme, A Slice of HappinessThe programme is designed to support solutions for those who are or may be facing homelessness as a result of Covid-19, by providing a positive-thinking approach.

Caroline Powell, founder of A Slice of Happiness, said:

It’s been a difficult year for everyoneand we are delighted to get this support from Herts Valleys and are really excited about extending our programmeThis is a much needed “safe space” where people can come together with others experiencing similar challenges and situations without being judged, but to leave feeling empoweredIt should no longer be a stigma, but a change in mindset on how we move through periods of deep change in our lives.”

Caroline is also pleased that “Coventry University Research Centre is also currently working with her to explore the impact of her work.

“A Slice of Happiness” is run and managed by Caroline, as an “arms-length delivery programme” from W3RT.
