Watford has inspired a love of laughter in some of the nation’s greatest legends of comedy.
From pioneering Goon Show star Michael Bentine to saucy Carry On actor Terry Scott; and the wartime antics that sparked Jimmy Perry’s creation of beloved situation comedy Dad’s Army.
Come and discover Watford’s rich comedy heart in this totally free and extremely funny exhibition in association with Write On Comedy.
There will be a talk on the history of comedy in Watford on the 13 April from 7pm.
