In partnership with Hertfordshire Community Foundation, The Quercus Fund has reopened for applications with grants of up to £5,000. The Quercus Fund was set up to improve the quality of life for young people up to the age of 25 in Watford. Applicants from Three RiIvers will also be considered by will not be given the same priority as those from Watford. This can be through a number of different projects and approaches, and in particular, projects which help young people overcome disadvantages. 

You will be able to apply for a grant from this fund if your work or project covers any of the following:

  • Mental health and well-being
  • Addressing disadvantage through sport
  • Including those with Sensory impairment
  • Supporting victims of sexual or physical abuse
  • Helping young people to stay safe
  • Modern Slavery

To allow you to have an understanding of the application process, we are hosting a FREE online webinar on the 8th July 2021 between 10-11am and will be joined by Nicola Stokes, the grant manager for the fund. This will give you an opportunity to discuss your project with her and to ask any questions you may have before submitting an application. The deadline for applications is the 6th August at 5pm
