To help our communities recover from the Covid19 pandemic, W3RT are managing £195,000 on behalf of Watford Borough and Three Rivers District Council. These funds, known as the Covid Community Grants Fund offers community and voluntary organisations the ability to organisations to ensure they remain viable and sustainable whilst delivering support to residents who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic
Since this funding opportunity opened in September 2021, 19 applications have been approved with a total of £122,112 being given to the following organisations:

- Bobath Centre
- The Living Room
- A Slice of Happiness
- Herts Mind Network
- Green Connections CIC
- Mediation Hertfordshire
- Ngorli CIC
- One Vision
- Delete Consortium CIC
- Families in Focus
- West Herts Amateur Boxing Club and Education Support
- Electric Umbrella
- Herts Musical Memories
- Goods for Good
- Home-Start Watford & Three Rivers
- Community Learning Partnership (CLP)
- Small Acts of Kindness
We are delighted to have been able to fund these projects which provide a wide range of support in our communities and we believe this funding will allow these organisations to continue to provide to our communities in the coming months.
This news piece will be updated on a regular basis with details of the latest organisations to be granted funding from the Covid Community Grants Fund and as projects begin, we will be collecting case studies from the organisations and will be able to share details of the funding’s impact in the community.
